Weekly Weigh In 1
The landfill rubbish this first week has weighed in at 159g; and that is allowing for the fact that David is now eating crisps etc again, and that the boys were at home for 3 school days due to the bad weather.
Hi Maisie - what a brilliant start to the new year. Hope 2010 is good for you. Has the garden waste collection kicked back in yet, or are you still waiting?
What a great start to 2010! Well done you; hope the bad weather has cleared; we have another few inches this morning; so I don't think my bin will be collected after all!
Hi Mrs A, no the garden waste doesn't get collected again until end of March, but I have a cunning plan.
I put 2 full newspapers into the bottom of the wheelie bin and I'm wrapping everything in newspaper twice, so it won't get wet and slimy; I'm hoping that I can get it all into the wheelie bin as we have only half filled it as yet, and it should compact down slightly as it ages.
